The Forest entomology lab at the University of Florida maintains the world’s largest collection of cryo-preserved bark and ambrosia beetles. Currently we have 146,921 individual accessions, which include 1,421 high-quality beetle species and many beetle-associated fungi frozen alive.

Researchers worldwide are welcome to use this resource! Whether you study population genetics of a destructive pest, taxonomy of an rare group, or searching images for an art and science project, we probably have what you need.
